Muslim rapist's sentence reduced because of "culture shock"

The Muslim immigrant in Australia got a slap on the wrist for 6 sexual assaults because he was under culture shock.  In order words, he was not used to see women who are not fully wrapped from head to toe so he got so turned on that he assaulted 6 women - including a 13 year old girl.  But the courts were so understanding to reduce his sentence due to his impaired condition.

Would they adjudicate in the same way if one of the victims were their daughter or niece?
