Deforming children by protecting them from STDs and pregnancy

Bruce's pediatrician wants to give him a vaccine against HPV - a sexually transmitted disease. We objected because of the message it sends i.e. in case he engages in sex then he will be protected. That "in case" somehow gets translated into "it's normal" to a 13 yr. old and just encourages or opens up the possibility of sex. Protecting him physiologically harms him spiritually, emotionally or mentally because his Christian commitment gets compromised by this contingency clause. Life is full of risks. The HPV vaccines does not protect him from other STDs. So, in case he wants to sin then he must be ready for the consequences. I guess it is that time for a father and son talk about the birds and the bees.
