Why did Bl. Pope John Paul II kiss the Q'uran?
Why did Bl. Pope John Paul II kiss the Q'uran? The same reason why Pope Pius XII kept diplomatic ties with the Nazis - to defend the helpless in the hands of the Nazis, now Muslims, and to save those that are being persecuted through diplomatic channels and stations e.g. churches and other religious institutions that had provided sanctuary to Jews back then and hopefully the Christians these days. Bl. Pope John Paul II would have smoked a turd if it would save a single Coptic Christian. St. John Bosco said that he would tip his hat to the devil, if he would let him snatch a soul from hell.
