Father Daughter Relationship in Butterfly Kisses Video

I have a head strong 6 year old.  But at the end, her mischief appears to be motivated by a desire for attention - mine.  This music video by Bob Carlisle performing Butterfly Kisses reminds me how time will fly.  So, a little patience and attention will produce a relationship where I can effectively influence or guide her steps in life.  And the process in itself is rewarding, if I stop to look beyond the trouble and appreciate the moment.

My son got a presidential award along with everyone in his class.  He had to write his name in.  I won't bother scanning that piece of toilet paper.  It's just like the promissory note given to that CHA unfaithful, insolent, disobedient arrogant, feminist liberal nun.  It is meaningless and manipulative.  (But I digress.)

And of course, it's just a matter of time before he does this.
