Video: Mohammedans shed false notion of Jesus

Muslims think they're better than Christians because they believe they have the greatest and last prophet, Mohammed teach them about God. Their understanding of Jesus comes from their view that Jesus was a great moral teacher or a minor prophet. If they want to know who Jesus is, they need to go beyond their own narrative and be pleasantly surprised. After that, they may need to run for their lives from Islam. But at least they will find the truth and the life.

Muslim clerics in the Middle East and North Africa are leaving Islam for Christianity, according to Father Zakaria Boutros.
Father Zakaria is an Egyptian Coptic priest who was kicked out of his country for converting Muslims to Christ. Today he has a ministry to the Muslim world through his satellite TV broadcast, 'Truth Talk.'
Broadcast daily into the Middle East, the program challenges Muslims to examine their faith and encourages them to discuss issues in an Internet chat room on Pal Talk.
Watch the interview to learn how those broadcasts are leading Muslim clerics to Christ.

According to Al-Jazeerah's interview with Sheikh Ahmad Al Katani, the president of The Companions Lighthouse for the Science of Islamic Law in Libya, In every hour, 667 Muslims convert to Christianity.
Everyday, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. Every year, 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity.

In his famous book Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis makes this statement, "A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic--on the level with a man who says he is a poached egg--or he would be the devil of hell. You must take your choice. Either this was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us."

A Mexican stimulus package is needed perhaps?

At least, it's not Bush's fault anymore.

Music video: Jeannie's Afraid Of The Dark (+ Christian reflections)

Do you have kids who's afraid of the dark?  Here's an interesting take on why that may be so.  The eternal flame reminds me of the many times the Lord Jesus compared Himself to Light.  See below.

"John presents man as either belonging to one of two things: the darkness or the light. There is no in between. The darkness is associated with death, while the light is associated with life. This theme is developed throughout the Gospel. In 1:4-9, John portrays Jesus as being the light of men and demonstrates that the darkness does not understand the light. John the Baptist came to bear witness of the light in order that men would believe through him. In the third chapter (19-21) Jesus states that the light has come into the world, but men have loved the darkness instead of the light because their works were evil. Evildoers hate the light and are afraid to go into the light lest their works be exposed. On the other hand, the ones who practice the truth come into the light so that it can be seen that their works were done through God. In 5:35 there is reference to John the Baptist as being a lamp that gives forth light. Jesus is also referred to as the Light of the World (8:12; 9:5) whereas the devil is called the "prince of this world" (12:31; 14:30; 16:11). In 12:35-36 Jesus tells the crowd that it is necessary to walk in the light because the person that walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. He also tells the crowd to believe in the Light in order to become sons of the light. Lastly in 12:46, he states that he has come as light into the world so that those who believe in him will not remain in darkness." from http://www.blueletterbible.org/study/intros/john.cfm

Video: Actionable - White House Manipulation Attempt

I oppose graft and corruption in government so, he's my little drop in the ocean.  Usually there's a special prosecutor assigned to high profile cases like this because it involves a felony.  Remember Watergate?

Description:  May 21, 2010 — Congessman Joe Sestak claims the White House tried to bribe him out of the Pennsylvania Democrat Senate primary but the White House, well, we're not sure what the White House says. Both can't be right...so who is wrong? You decide.

Happiness before Prozac

The ancient Chinese taught:
If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap.
If you want happiness for a day, go fishing.
If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune.
If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.

What's deeper than that is JOY.
J is Jesus the best of friends.  He's the center of our lives.
O is others coming second
Y is yourself coming last.

Video: Ground Zero TROPHY Mosque opening on September 11, 2011

Can you say trophy?

Excerpt:
"We weren't attack by a nation. We weren't attacked by 'terror.' We were attacked by Islamic jihadists. . . . Jihad threatens our freedom, our families and our way of life. . . . Islamic jihadist pose a clear and present danger to American freedom and to the very existence of the state of Israel. . . . Now Muslims want to build a mosque just two blocks from where the World Trade Center once stood. When's the grand opening of this Ground Zero mosque? September 11, 2011. This is unacceptable. There is a difference between tolerance and surrender. . . . If we don't start electing leaders who recognize the enemy, call them by name and stand up against them, then surrendering is exactly what we are doing."
