More than two dozen people have been injured in a bomb explosion at a crowded bus stop in central Jerusalem. It appears to be the first militant attack in the city in several years.

On Hanging On To Life vs. Saving Money.

When my dad died, we found that he had Leukemia.  None of us knew - not even my youngest brother who visited him weekly.  Knowing how thifty he is, I suspect that he might have known - formally or informally and opted to let the disease take it's toll.  He might thought of sparing us the financial burden for his medical treatments.    At hindsight, I was thinking that if he languished on through chemo, then it may be troublesome but it would have brought out the best from us all.  I know that my other brother, the middle, loves him because he comes to join us whenever I set up a get together for my dad.  But when my dad died, he got into drugs and is now a biker.  So, when making end of life decisions, old people should consider that their worth goes beyond becoming a burden.  That burden may actually do good.

Stop foreign aid to countries that engage in religious persecution

Here in the US, we have the power to curb if not eliminate religious persecutions against Christians, Jews, Hindus from Muslim nations that receive foreign aid. Please email your Congressman and Senator to ensure that foreign aid is tied to a condition of respecting religious diversity. Thank you and God bless. Rick

Indonesia: Agence France Presse reported last month on an attack by the Islamic Anti-Apostate Movement, who stormed a church service in a Protestant church in the West Java town of Soreang. The AFP report notes that more than 30 churches have been forced to close in West Java and dozens more throughout the country in recent years due to Muslim violence, churches which were among the few spared during the outbreak of hostilities during 1997-1998, where hundreds of Christian churches were burned to the ground and never rebuilt.

“How to Raise a Juvenile Delinquent"

The sheriff’s office in a Texas city once published a list of rules titled “How to Raise a Juvenile Delinquent"  as:

1. From infancy, give a child everything he wants. He'll believe that the world owes him a living.

2. Pick up after your child.  He'll learn to pass his duties on others.

3. Side with him always even against authorities. Tell him they're prejudiced against him because he is a “free spirit” and is never wrong. This will make him disregard anyone who corrects him or limits his behavior.

4. Prepare for grief as your child will end up in jail or have a messed up life. A child who never hears the word no has a limited understanding of the word yes.

In fact, St. John Bosco’s “No” is preferred by the kids to Bl. Michael Rua’s “Yes”. St. John Bosco takes the time to listen to the request. Then he kindly explains why the request is not good for the boy. So, the young feels loved despite the rejection or the limitation. ( Bl. Michael Rua is cold by temperament. So, his “yes” can appear to be impersonal. But he is a holy man.)

On Friday night two Palestinians slayed an entire Israeli family in their house while they were sleeping: Rabbi Udi Fogel (36), his wife Ruth (34), 11-year-old Yoav, four-year-old Elad and three-month-old Hadas.

But on the Arabic section of the website, an article was published praising the attacker as a ‘mujahid’ and deriding the slain Jews as “Zionist usurpers.” What’s worse, at the time I checked there were 34 comments on the article posted by readers, all praising the attack and the attacker (I translated the first 17 or so). Curiously, while the Hamas statement in the English article raised the possibility of the act being carried out by settlers, in the Arabic article there’s no doubt that the attacker was a Palestinian ‘mujahid’.

(WJD) One day after an Israeli family of five was brutally murdered in their home, the Palestinian Authority--the supposed peace partner of the Israeli government--stood by while a square was named for a terrorist who killed 37 Israelis in 1978.  Dalal Mughrabi square was named Sunday in the presence of Fatah party members. Members of Fatah's armed wing carried out the attack against the Fogel family of Itamar in which three children and their parents were stabbed to death Saturday morning.


Commentary: 
When the Mossad takes out a terrorist, only the man is terminated.  The wife and kids are spared.  On the other hand, these killers are not human.  Grief and rage fills my heart as my kids are of the same age!  Truly, such evil is beyond human origins and can only be inspired by the Antichrist.  See article on how Pope identifies the Antichrist in his new book.
