UN: Crime To Expose Evil of Islam.

The UN passed a resolution calling for criminalization of criticism of Islam. As Obama plans to stock his administration with Muslims, it will be telling how he handles the implementation of OIC strategy to impose Islamic supremacism on the world. What will Obama do and say about this resolution, which seeks to protect Islam and criminalize criticism of it (as determined by the OIC)? Dr. History points out that nothing is said about Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Ba’hai, Zorastrianism, Buddhism etc.

And considering how anti-semitic the Quran is, as are Islamic teachings, does this legitimize Jew hatred and make it a crime to speak out against it?

Islam is the only religion specifically named as deserving protection. India's Ambassador Gopinathan Achamkulangare said the resolution "inappropriately" linked religious criticism to racism.

And that includes, of course, any honest examination of how jihadists use Islamic texts and teachings to make recruits. So not only does this herald the death of free speech, but it also leaves us mute and defenseless before the advancing global jihad.

GENEVA (AP) — The U.N.'s top human-rights body approved a proposal backed by Muslims [sic] nations Thursday urging the passage of laws around the world protecting religion from criticism.

The proposal by Pakistan had drawn strong criticism from free-speech campaigners and liberal democracies.

A simple majority of 23 members of the 47-nation Human Rights Council voted in favor of the resolution. Eleven mostly Western nations opposed it and 13 countries abstained.

Pope identifies Antichrist in New Book

The Pope has condemned religiously motivated violence, describing it as a “favourite instrument of the Antichrist” in his new book about the life of Jesus published today.

In Jesus of Nazareth – Holy Week: From the Entrance into Jerusalem to the Resurrection, published by the Catholic Truth Society, the Holy Father criticised the idea that violence in the name of religion is justifiable...

Archbishop Silvano Tomasi, permanent representative of the Holy See to the UN in Geneva, cited a statistic that 75 per cent of those killed because of their religion across the world are Christian. He was speaking at the 16th ordinary session of the Human Rights Council on religious freedom.

Pope Benedict has consistently spoken out against religiously motivated violence, including in his famous 2006 Regensburg lecture, in which he said: “Violence is incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul.”

He began the year by condemning sectarian violence, including attacks against Christians in the Middle East.

In October he will host a meeting of religious leaders in Assisi to discuss how they can promote peace, 25 years after Pope John Paul II held a similar event. But soon after the meeting was announced the Islamic Research Council of the University of al-Azhar in Cairo, the highest authority of Sunni Islam, said it was ending dialogue with the Vatican after the Pope spoke out against anti-Christian violence in Egypt.

Approved Sex Ed for 5 year olds DECADENT

Explicit cartoons, films and books have been cleared for use to teach sex education to schoolchildren as young as five.  A disturbing dossier exposes a wide range of graphic resources recommended for primary school lessons.  The shocking material – promoted by local councils and even the BBC – teaches youngsters about adult language and sexual intercourse.

Commentary:
From the pedagogical perspective, one will find the following items to be problematic:
1.)  The definition of prostitute is so non-judgmental like it's just another job.  One can define nanny along the same breath with absolutely no qualitative distinction.  Might as well as add that to the career handbook.
2.)  The description of straight or gay is again so benign, so innocent sugggesting normalcy  - no different from the hetesexuality.
3.)  The description of an orgasm sounds like fun to explore.  And it spells how just how to get one: by yourself or with your playmate.  If you were a kid, wouldn't you want to experience this pleasure?
4.)  The ways of copulation with balloons and space hopper suggests that it is an activity as innocent as child's play.  So, kids will then ask what do you want to play:  tag, dress up or getting it together.
5.)  The definiton of masturbation and intercourse is so clinical with no moral qualification.  Just another activity like eating or napping. 

If parents find this offensive or corrupting, they can always opt out their child.  However, the majority would probably stay and one can foresee the sexually charged climate that will result from this.  Worse, there will be two moralities facing the child: one from State where everything goes and one from parents.  It now becomes a battle for the heart and mind of the child to gain his soul.  But why is the government even going here? Here is a motive.



With Obamacare funded already at $105 Billion dollars, kids can go to Planned Parenthood and get an abortion that is already paid for by our taxes (expect them to rise - a lot).  The school will even drive them there and it will be done in all confidentiality (thanks to those privacy laws that led to the legalization of abortion).  And when purity goes, the entire character goes.  When the child has no character, then what else is there left that has value?  (While the program cited is in the UK, the Obama administration has done similar things.  Just go to the blog posts under "Education".)

And these evils as are old as the hills.  God condems these through Isaiah saying, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." (Isaiah 5:20)   And the Lord Jesus points out that the culpability is worse when it involves children as He warns, "And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck." (Mk 9:42)

Official Lenten Food & Drink. You'd Want Lent to Lengthen.

The pretzel indeed has its origins as an official food of Lent. However, much of the information available is based on tradition that has been handed down through the ages. Nevertheless, the Vatican library actually has a manuscript illustrating one of the earliest pictures and descriptions of the pretzel (Manuscript Code no. 3867)....According to pretzel maker Snyder’s of Hanover, a young monk in the early 600s in Italy was preparing a special Lenten bread of water, flour and salt. To remind his brother monks that Lent was a time of prayer, he rolled the bread dough in strips and then shaped each strip in the form of crossed arms, mimicking the then popular prayer position of folding one’s arms over each other on the chest. The bread was then baked as a soft bread, just like the big soft pretzels one can find today....
 
Apparently, this simple Lenten food became very popular. Pretzels were enjoyed by all people. They became a symbol of good luck, long life and prosperity. Interestingly, they were also a common food given to the poor and hungry. Not only were pretzels easy to give to someone in need, but also they were both a substantial food to satisfy the hunger and a spiritual reminder of God knowing a person’s needs and answering our prayers....

Another interesting story involving pretzels arises in the late 1500s, when the Ottoman Moslem Turks were besieging the city of Vienna, Austria. The Turks could not break the city’s defenses, so they began to tunnel below ground. The monks in the basement of the monastery were baking pretzels and heard the sound of digging. They alerted the guard and saved the city.

Following the ancient tradition of Bavarian monks who brewed stronger beer during the Lenten fast in order to subsist on an almost entirely liquid diet...bockbier, which was originally brewed by the Paulaner monks in Munich.  The beer is a strong, dark, malty lager and is known as liquid bread. Traditionally, it was brewed by the monks for the periods of fasting in Lent and Advent.

Although the House voted in February to deny new funding for ObamaCare, it has done nothing to remove the $105,464,000,000 that the last Congress allocated through passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare). Unless Congress rescinds those appropriations, $5 billion will be spent this year and another $100 billion will be spent in the next 8 years (through FY2019).
Specifically, Section 1311(a) of ObamaCare provides an unlimited appropriation to the Health and Human Services Secretary to award grants to states for Exchanges. Section 4002 essentially creates a $16 billion slush fund for the HHS Secretary to spend and $2 billion is appropriated to the Secretary per year in perpetuity after 2015. Section 4101(a) allows $230 million in appropriation for school-based health centers. Section 5508 appropriates $230 million for expanded primary care residency programs and Section 2953 allocates $320 to Title XX-type education programs
