Reflection: Back in the 60s, the Liberals pushed the government to pull out of Vietnam. Vietnam is now under the Communist regime and the Vietnamese has lost their freedoms and basic human rights.
Today, we have these Liberals causing disorder and even subversion to change the Capitalistic system. If they like Communism, they should live in Cuba, Russia or Vietnam. Some of us know a little of what that is like that is why we fled here. I guess these people do not think much or know much history. They just get paid and brainwashed - to destroy America. It is sickening. May God help us.

I'd go with the former of the two. I've a 30 yr. old brother-in-law who just emigrated to Viet Nam. His only first hand knowledge came from a glorified day tripping excursion with his college class. He's gone back now to work as an English instructor.
Did he check out various human rights organizations for their evaluation of Viet Nam?
Nope.
Did he talk to other Americans living over there to get the lay of the land?
Nope.
But he DID talk to a cab driver over there who assured him that we Americans "really don't need all those rights & freedoms we have."
I'm not kidding either.
He left about a month ago, my wife figures he'll be back in less than a year. I have my own doubts, some people never see anything contrary to what they want to be the truth.
As Forrest Gump said, "Stupid is as stupid does".
And I'm certain he wishes he were here now to join in on the "Occupy Wall Street" crowd. He'd fit right in.
@Subvet: It is surprising that some people actually want their freedom taken away e.g. the case of prisoners who have be institutionalized so much that they cannot function when freed - on their own. The supporters of the nanny state may be that type. I think it is sick - a pathological dependence or conformity. Hopefully those who are sick do not end up drawing up the program for those who are healthy.
